Delivery & Returns
Shipping Times
Design Photo Print Ltd aim is to have dispatched your purchase within 1 – 28 working days of funds clearing. For each of our product ranges, you’ll find an estimate of how long it will take for an order to be despatched. Wherever possible, we will provide an indication of delivery/shipping times, when we confirm your order. Once your order is with the Final Carriers, where available, we will email a Tracking number and the Carriers website address where you can follow the progress of your delivery.
Delivery Costs
Delivery costs are displayed during the checkout process and include any additional packing material costs. Design Photo Print reserves the right to amend the delivery costs in line with suppliers rates for your order.
Delivery Inspection and Handling
You will be required to sign for the satisfactory delivery of your Product by our Carriers. Please inspect outer packaging carefully for signs of damage in transit. If you are dissatisfied with the outer appearance you can either refuse delivery or insist on inspecting the contents before signing for you product. You can make no claim against the Carriers if you merely sign the delivery form as ‘unchecked’ or equivalent.
Please ensure that there is sufficient manpower available to handle your product into its final position or safe dry storage area. Our Carriers are only responsible and insured for up to kerbside delivery.
Alternative Address
For your convenience, we can deliver your Design Photo Print Ltd order to an address other than your billing address. i.e. relative’s, neighbour’s or work’s address. This option is offered when you reach the checkout. Please note that your invoice receipt will be sent to your billing address ONLY.
Outside of UK
At present we do not sell or deliver outside of the United Kingdom.
Returns
In compliance with EU regulations for Online Selling Design Photo Print Ltd will accept whole orders (except special orders) back unopened in the Original Packaging for whatever reason within 7 days of receipt.
Any requests to cancel/return an order must be made either in writing to Design Photo Print Ltd 16 Garth Street, Kenfig Hill, Bridgend, CF33 6EU or emailed to neil@designphotoprint.com quoting your original Order number. These are the only ways to request a Return Authorization Number.
You will need to return the goods back to us via your chosen courier within 14 days, please note your delivery and insurance cost will need to be covered by you. Design Photo Print Ltd do not accept part order returns.
Please note: Unless the product sent to you is a wrong item or defective, you are responsible for shipping costs back to our registered office. We do not accept items that have been damaged or soiled. All returning packages must be shipped within 14 days from the Return Authorization Number date or will be rejected and returned to sender.
Items returned without a Return Authorization Number will be refused at the returns address and sent back to the sender.
IMPORTANT: We highly recommend insuring your return shipment for its full purchase price in case of loss or damage in transit back to us. We cannot be responsible for damaged or lost parcels being returned to us. You are responsible for filing claims with the courier you use in case of loss or damage.
Terms & Conditions
In order to comply with the European Union (EU) Directive on Distance Selling, the following Terms & Conditions must be agreed to before your order can be processed. These terms and conditions for the sale of goods will govern any contract for sale that we jointly enter into and tell you the rights and obligations you have. Please read these carefully. You may have other rights granted by law and these Terms and Conditions do not affect these. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
User obligation
Use of this Web Site constitutes your acknowledgement and acceptance of these terms and conditions.
By using this Web Site you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions which form a binding contract between you and Design Photo Print Ltd.
Design Photo Print Ltd reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time by posting changes online and it is your responsibility to refer to and comply with these terms on accessing the site.
Your continued use of this site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of these terms and conditions as modified.
Standard Conditions of Trading
All sales shall be deemed to be made between the buyer and Design Photo Print Ltd in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of Sale herein after mentioned. In the event of any conflict between the Conditions and any terms and conditions put forward by the Buyer, these conditions shall prevail.
No person has authority to make any representation on behalf of Design Photo Print Ltd, which is not made or confirmed in writing and the Buyer shall not rely upon any representation unless made or confirmed in writing.
The prices for all materials or goods supplied and transportation shall be strictly in accordance with those prices at the time of order currently notified and published by Design Photo Print Ltd unless otherwise confirmed in writing by Design Photo Print Ltd.
Goods are not sold (or tested) as conforming to any British Standard Specification or as fit for any particular purpose, unless expressly so stated in writing, and any term, condition or warranty that the goods are so fit is excluded.
Online Shopping Terms & Conditions
Definitions
“Buyer” means the individual or organisation who buys or agrees to buy the Goods from the Seller;
“Consumer” shall have the meaning ascribed in section 12 of the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977;
“Contract” means the contract between the Seller and the Buyer for the sale and purchase of Goods incorporating these Terms and Conditions;
“Goods” means the articles that the Buyer agrees to buy from the Seller;

“Terms and Conditions” means the terms and conditions of sale set out in this document and any special terms and conditions agreed in writing by the seller.
Conditions
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall affect the Buyer’s statutory rights as a Consumer.
These Terms and Conditions shall apply to all contracts for the sale of Goods by the Seller to the Buyer and shall prevail over any other documentation or communication from the Buyer.
Acceptance of delivery of the Goods shall be deemed conclusive evidence of the Buyer’s acceptance of these Terms and Conditions
Any variation to these Terms and Conditions (including any special terms and conditions agreed between the parties) shall be inapplicable unless agreed in writing by the Seller.
Ordering
All orders for Goods shall be deemed to be an offer by the Buyer to purchase Goods pursuant to these Terms and Conditions and are subject to acceptance by the Seller.
The Seller may choose not to accept an order for any reason.
Special Orders
Special orders cannot be cancelled once production of the item has begun.
Back Orders
Where the Goods ordered by the Buyer are not available within the 4 week production time the Buyer shall be notified and given the option to either wait until the Goods are available or cancel the order and receive a full refund within 7 days.
Prices
The Price of the Goods shall be that stipulated on the Seller’s Website and include VAT at the current standard rate.
The total purchase price, including VAT and delivery charges, will be displayed in the Buyer’s shopping cart prior to confirming the order.
All payments will be made in GBP £’s Sterling
After the order is received the Seller shall confirm by email the details, description and price for the Goods together with information on the right to cancel if the Buyer is a Consumer.
In the case of all sales, payment of the price including vat and delivery charges must be made in full through a secure payment system.
We reserve the right to carry out further security checks on transactions prior to money being debited from the card details supplied, this helps us protect both our customers and the company from fraudulent transactions.
Rights of Seller
The Seller reserves the right to adjust the price and specification of any item on the Website at its discretion.
The Seller reserves the right to withdraw any goods from the Website at any time.
The Seller shall not be liable to anyone for withdrawing any Goods from the Website or for refusing to process an order.
Warranty
The Seller warrants that the Goods will at the time of dispatch correspond to the description given by the Seller. Except where the Buyer is dealing as a Consumer, all other warranties, conditions, or terms relating to fitness for purpose, merchantability or condition of the Goods, whether implied by Statute, common law or otherwise are excluded, and the Buyer is satisfied as to the suitability of the Goods for the Buyer’s purpose.
Limitations of Liability
Except as may be implied by law where the Buyer is dealing as a Consumer, in the event of any breach of these Terms and Conditions by the Seller the remedies of the Buyer shall be limited to damages which shall in no circumstances exceed the Price of the Goods and the Seller shall under no circumstances be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage whatever.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or limit the liability of the Seller for death or personal injury resulting from the negligence of the Seller or that of the Seller’s agents or employees.
Waiver
No waiver by the Seller (whether express or implied) in enforcing any of its rights under this contract shall prejudice its rights to do so in the future.
Payment Information
Offline Payment can be made in a number of ways.
You may also pay by cheque, this can take 7 working days to clear, once cleared, your order can be dispatched, or special orders can be processed.
You may pay by bank transfer, online banking is normally free and takes approx 3-4 working days to clear, depending on the bank, or you can perform a CHAPS transfer that is an overnight payment, and can cost between £15-£20, again depending on the bank.
Design Photo Print Ltd are not liable for any charges made by banks for these services, likewise Design Photo Print Ltd does not charge a percentage fee for credit or debit cards.
Online Payments can be made via PayPal or Google Checkout. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the payment is made using 256 bit encryption Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. This encryption begins at the form where you are asked for your credit card details. They are only decrypted after they reach the bank computers; all that passes through the internet is a scrambled message. They are not held in clear text on any web site. Your information is not stored on an internet active computer so your details cannot be accessed by a third party.
This system is the safest way to buy and is safer than passing your details over the phone lines or passing your card over a shop counter.
The company accepting the payment is Design Photo Print Ltd, and that is what will appear on your statement.
VAT
20% VAT is included on all final prices shown in your shopping cart or verbally given when placing an order.
Delivery Information
Deliveries are made to the ‘kerb side’. Unfortunately due to insurance guidelines it is not the driver’s responsibility to take goods into your home, therefore please arrange for adequate help at time of delivery. Large framed products may require at least 2 people at the property to assist with unloading. Deliveries could be made on a lorry or a van and it is assumed that the delivery address will be accessible.
Deliveries are made from 8.00 am to around 6.00pm.
Estimated Times of Delivery
Design Photo Print Ltd will forward the Carriers tracking/trace number and website address to you email address once the Carrier has processed your delivery. Requests for an E.T.A on the day of delivery are strictly at the courier’s discretion. We cannot make a courier contact you to advise delivery times, we can only request this. If a courier arrives at your address and is unable to deliver on the arranged delivery date because you are not there, or there is inadequate help available, you will be liable for any additional costs incurred. ALL deliveries must be signed for.
Design Photo Print Ltd cannot be held responsible for delivery time schedules arranged with outside couriers, e.g. special order products dispatched direct from manufacturers.
Damaged or Missing goods
Please inspect all goods immediately on delivery. If you are unfortunate enough to receive a damaged or missing item, make sure it’s noted on the courier’s paperwork. Any damaged goods must be returned to the driver for return to Design Photo Print Ltd. Replacement goods or refunds will be issued within 7 days (Subject to product availability).
We cannot accept liability for damages or errors if goods have been fitted.
No claims for damaged or missing items can be made after the courier has left the delivery address, unless signed for as damaged or missing. Design Photo Print Ltd do our utmost to avoid any damage by choosing the best couriers available, however some goods are sent direct from the manufacturer, which means we have no jurisdiction over the method of delivery.
All claims must be made within 7 days of receipt of goods. Goods refused on delivery that are found to be undamaged on return to us will incur the return delivery charge where applicable.
No liability can be accepted for costs caused by late deliveries or for any other reason.
Risk in Ownership of the Goods
Risk in the Goods shall pass to the Buyer on delivery.
Guarantee
All products are subject to a workmanship guarantee of at least 12 months,
Faulty Goods
In the unlikely event that received goods are faulty, please use the contact for or telephone 01656 838168 Mob: 07881 825399 to arrange a collection. A refund or replacement will then be agreed. We cannot accept liability for damages or errors if the product has been miss handled during installation or fitting.
Returns and Cancellation Policy

All credits will be processed within 28 days. Please note that Design Photo Print Ltd can only refund delivery costs if the return is a result of Design Photo Print Ltd error. If you decide to cancel your order before delivery for whatever reason, except special orders, a £10 administration charge applies. If an order has been dispatched further charges may apply.
In the case of a verbal order Design Photo Print Ltd will always read back your order at the time, and your agreement will form a contract. Design Photo Print Ltd are unable to cancel or refund any monies paid on special order items after they have been ordered.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Installation
In installing or using any goods or equipment supplied by Design Photo Print Ltd the purchaser shall observe all instructions, directions and warnings issued by Design Photo Print Ltd or the manufacturer.
Force Majeure
All cases of force majeure such as wars, riots, strikes, lockouts, bankruptcy, fire, water damage, delay in transport, lack of means of transport, breakdown in factories or those of our suppliers or any other unforeseeable events give us the right to postpone the fulfilment of the contract, as well as to cancel it partially or wholly without thereby conferring on the Buyer the right to claim damages against Design Photo Print Ltd or the manufacturers.
Copyright and Other Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, this Web Site and its contents are the property of Design Photo Print Ltd, whose registered office is situated at 16 Garth St, Kenfig Hill, Bridgend, CF33 6EU. The trademarks appearing on this Web Site are protected by the laws of England and international trademark laws. Reproduction of material on this Web Site is prohibited unless express permission is given by Design Photo Print Ltd.

Any cause of action you may have with respect to your use of this site must be commenced within one (1) year after the claim or cause of action arises.
If any of these Terms and Conditions should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable by reason of the law of any state or country in which these Terms and Conditions are intended to be effective, then to the extent and within the jurisdiction in which that Term or Condition is illegal, invalid or unenforceable, it shall be severed and deleted from that clause and the remaining terms and conditions shall survive and continue to be binding and enforceable.

Design Photo Print Ltd cannot guarantee the colour matching from monitor to monitor and advises that slight colour variations may occur.
